Pickup from the hotel will be done at around 0800 hr-0830 hrs. then briefing will be done then drive to Samburu enjoying the gifts of nature found around the route then lunch will be taken enroute. On arrival you will have an evening game drive in Samburu National Reserve as you familiarize with its inhabitants. Dinner and overnight at the camp site.

Have a full day game drive in Samburu National Reserve after having your breakfast. Samburu has it its special 5 which are found in this region in total and if lucky you will view all these. The special five given will be at least two then find out about the three: the Gerenuk antelope, the Beisa Oryx……the three that are not listed remains a wonder world. Get to river Ewaso Nyiro which is the animal’s water point and if lucky enough you will view elephant’s drinking water and how they play around with water. Visit the Samburu village which is optional at an extra cost .Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Have breakfast at the camp site then depart to Mount Kenya enjoying the beautiful changing vegetation. Lunch enroute. Upon arrival have a nature walk as ascending and the enjoying the variety of Flora and Fauna of Mt. Kenya. Enjoy the breathe taking chirping of the birds and the rare breeze of the mountain. The nature walk will be an extraordinary one as it is unspoiled nature. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Have breakfast at the camp then depart from Mount Kenya to Nakuru via the Nyahururu way. Have a stopover at the Thompsons falls in Nyahururu and enjoy the magnificent view. Drive on along the Rift Valley then have lunch in Nakuru town. Have an afternoon game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park and enjoy the game in Nakuru and the flamingos. The Park also got a Rhino sanctuary for both species. Drive to Naivasha for dinner and overnight at a budget hotel.

Have breakfast at the hotel then get to Hells Gate and enjoy having the nature walk along the nature trails and walk through the Gorges as enjoying the wildlife found around there. You could do an optional activity of bicycle riding at an extra cost of 600 Ksh. Then drive west passing through Mount Longonot via the Narok way to Maasai Mara. If time allows then have an evening game drive the Great Mara. Dinner and overnight at Miti Mingi Eco Camp.

Have early breakfast and proceed to have the game drive in the park which is a landscape of the savannah grassland on rolling hills. It is famously known for its range of wildlife and the good network that allows for better game viewing and nice shots of photos. Take selfies with the Man eaters and enjoy the beautiful view of all the wildlife in the park and the variety species of birds for the bird lovers. Have your picnic lunch at the hippo pool enjoying the epic experience of dining with the hippos and crocs. In the evening there’s an optional visit to the Maasai village at an extra cost of 10$ per person.

Have early breakfast then have the morning Game drive for the last chance of the visit to Mara to enjoy the wild feeling in Mara and the prolific game viewing in the Great Mara. JDG Safaris wishes you a great journey back home full of sweet memories.
