Amboseli known to be home to huge Elephants and a couple of them made the Park their permanent home. This comes in with a blend of Rhinos and Flamingos when in season and a very good chance to see the Big 5.
LessThis morning you will be picked up from the Airport or your hotel in Nairobi and depart for Maasai Mara arriving in the evening, and have an evening game drive through the park in search of the Lion, Cheetah, Elephant, Buffalo and other members of the Big five plus other animals. Dinner and overnight at campsite.
Early morning breakfast and then head to a full day game drive in this magnificent park. Break for your picnic lunch at the hippo pool, looking out for hippos and crocodile then later on return to the campsite. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.
After breakfast depart for Lake Nakuru National park located in the Great Rift Valley to arrive in time for lunch. After lunch enjoy an exciting game drive. The Park is a home to stunning flocks of lesser and Greater Flamingos, which literally turn the lakeshores in to a magnificent pink stretch. The bird life here is world renowned and over 400 birds’ species exist here, White Pelicans, Plovers, Egrets and Marabou Stork. It is also one of the very few places in Africa to see the White and Black Rhino and rare Rothschild Giraffe. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge or a similar hotel, booked on Full Board basis.
Have a morning Game Drive in Lake Nakuru National Park that is famously known for flamingos and also a rhino sanctuary for both the white endangered rhino and the black rhino. Enjoy the splendid site of the water body animals like the buffaloes, crocodiles and the hippos too and how they live together. You will view this from a view point of the baboon cliff and interact with the baboons too. Have picnic lunch then later in the day travel to Naivasha. Have dinner and spend the night in Naivasha
This morning we depart through the scenic Athi Plains and into the bush country of Amboseli National Park, home to the legendary Maasai tribesmen and famous for huge herds of Elephant. Lunch en-route. Upon arrival check in, in the campsite then dinner and overnight will be at the campsite.
Rising early for good views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit, we set off for another extensive game drive. Amboseli is an excellent place to view a multitude of wildlife, including everything from Wildebeest, Giraffes, and Baboons. Optional visit to a Maasai village can be planned (at extra cost). Maasai warriors are famously known as the proud nomadic tribe whose legendary prowess in battle and single-handed acts of bravery in fights with the wild animals are known across the world. A visit reveals the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.
You will have early morning game drive. It will be your last game drive at Amboseli and where the Safari ends. JDG Safari wishes you a safe journey back home and we take pride in hosting you during your holiday stay in Kenya.
